landman.directory is a professional directory connecting land professionals (landmen, abstractors, brokers, attorneys) with companies, operators, and individuals seeking land services. The Platform provides search, profiles, and communication tools.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating or claiming a profile. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

4. Profile Information

Profiles may be created from publicly available professional data (AAPL directories, state records). If you are the subject of a profile, you may claim and edit it. You represent that information you provide is accurate and current.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for spam or unsolicited communications; (b) scrape or harvest data in bulk; (c) impersonate another person or professional; (d) post false, misleading, or defamatory content; (e) attempt to circumvent security measures.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and branding on landman.directory is owned by or licensed to us. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a license to display it on the Platform.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of profile information, certifications, or qualifications listed. Users should independently verify credentials before hiring.

8. Limitation of Liability

landman.directory is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to hiring decisions made based on profile information.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas.

11. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
